Phishing by Telephone

Yesterday, I received a telephone call, from a gentleman who said he was from Microsoft, wanting to talk to me about my computer. I politely told him that there was nothing wrong with my computer, and I hung up.

 

I did some research and managed to extract the number he was calling from, it was 00123 948 3584.

 

I did not feel like checking this number for obvious reasons, and wondered if it were a genuine call!!!

 

Would anyone like to try it?
