Guest anthony@necrofiends.com Posted November 17, 2007 Posted November 17, 2007 I set-up a new server on my network. It's primarily being used for storage. I joined it to the domain, so it's basically acting as a domain computer. When users try to access shared files, they're prompted for a username and password. They do that and they're denied access. If I set-up a local account for them on the server, it lets them access the shares. How do I make it so they're not prompted for a username or password?

If they are regular users trying to access the shared folder you have to have the 'Users' group have read permissions on the shared folder <anthony@necrofiends.com> wrote in message news:3b024ee0-51b4-4884-ba35-3019b80edba6@n20g2000hsh.googlegroups.com... >I set-up a new server on my network.
