Guest DaffyD(R) Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 I've also been able to view all new newsgroup messages using the Outlook Express newsreader. Now, starting this month, I'm not able to see any posts after 11/2. The reason I sent 3 posts regarding one issue is that my posts didn't show up in the OE6 newsreader. I've tried refreshing it but it didn't help. Has the OE news reader been discontinued? Is this the right group to post this issue or does it belong in the OE newsgroup?

Very good! Keep your eyes open from now on, then, DaffyD®! Also, keep an eye on the OE, View menu, Current View settings to see none of the hide options are chosen. Finally, at "OE, Tools menu, Options, Read tab", uncheck "Get x headers at a time". By unchecking it, all headers will be read in when the time comes (by the setting at the General tab). | "DaffyD®" <rhlear@gmail.com> wrote in message | news:39ba731f-63f8-4cad-80d1-b31e773e0de4@s8g2000prg.googlegroups.com... |> I've also been able to view all new newsgroup messages using the |> Outlook Express newsreader. Guest DaffyD® Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 Re: Can't View New Posts Using OE6 Good to see you responding to one of my posts again, PCR. It's been a while. But I always had the "get x headers at a time" checked because it was the default setting, believing that i could get x headers each time OE checked for new posts.
