Hi

I have 2 DC Primary and backup Server 2003 ENT my problem is i have alot os

USERENV events (1030 and 1058) pertaining to the GPO :: (ACCESS DENIED TO THE

PATH) yet the path is accessible on both DC from the client machines and all

other servers and the application log on bith DC have these errors

 

Have look on the net but none of the salutions they give works and is

simaliar to our problem'

 

Any help will be appreciated

Many possible causes. Do you have any DC running multihomed computer? Or

these search result may help.

 

Event ID 1058, 1059 and 1030

Event ID 1058, 1059 and 1030. Event ID 1058 is Group Policy related

issue. Normally, there are two symptoms: "network path not found" and

Hi Robert

 

These events all started after we changed to Domain admin password.

we had it in the past when we also changed the password but it works its

self out but know the policies are not being applied to clients at all

We had a case like this one. The problem is how you find out which computer

still logon using the old password. You also want to check the TS or remote

desktop access.

One other thing to look for is if you have any scheduled tasks or services

configured to run with the domain id that need to be updated to the new

password.
