Guest Matutolas Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 Hello, i got 2 windows 2003 domain controllers, which both don't have internet connection. I build another pc with a time server, which goes to internet update all the time. How can I set both DCs to sync the time with that pc. I already went to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/816042 and read all the info, but it didn't work. Can someone help me? Thanks a lot Matutolas

This might be too simple, just have you tried restarting both the DC on confiuring the external time source? -- Jabez Gan Microsoft MVP: Windows Server - File Storage "Matutolas" <matutolas@netcabo.pt> wrote in message news:OawNve1KIHA.2176@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > Hello, > > i got 2 windows 2003 domain controllers, which both don't have internet > connection. Guest Newell White Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 RE: W32Time issue Try this on your servers, using regedit32.exe HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\Parameters set 'Type' to NTP Set 'NtpServer' to Myworkstation.Ourdomain.local,0x1 Restart the W32Time service. -- Regards, Newell White "Matutolas" wrote: > Hello, > > i got 2 windows 2003 domain controllers, which both don't have internet > connection.
