Guest Ray234 Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 We have used the shadow copy feature for years, and it is very helpful. Lately, though, it has been failing once or twice a week. I've researched the errors online, but can't find the right fix. The errors I'm getting are: (1) "When preparing a new volume shadow copy for volume D:, the shadow copy storage on D: could not be located in non-critical space. Consider using a shadow copy storage volume that does not have any shadow copies.", (2) "There was insufficient disk space on volume D: to grow the shadow copy storage for shadow copies of D:. As a result of this failure all shadow copies of volume D: are at risk of being deleted." and (3) "The shadow copies of volume D: were aborted because the shadow copy storage failed to grow.". I've tried deleting all and disabling this, and then re-setting up everything, but it still fails. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
