Hi There,

I have a terminal server cluster off Windows 2003 Ent. servers with sp2.

Server01 is the DC

Server02 is Exchange

Server03 - Server08 are Terminal servers

When i want to browse from a terminal server to: \\server01\d$\Homedirs it

takes a lot off time before i get result. this is also when i go to:

\\192.168.1.1\d$

I have installed my DNS server on server01 and i hagve installed WINS on

terminal server03

Alle the Nic's are configured as auto, and are running on 1GB.

The Computer broser service is only started at my DC.

Please help.

Don't think it has something to do with your Windows config. Because it's

also when you connect on IP, check your switches. Maybe you'll have to set

the NIC speed to 1Gbit. Some switches have problems with auto settings. Also

try updating the NIC driver.

And if that doesn't help, check the EventLog for errors and

warnings, and then these articles:

files over the network on a Windows Server 2003-based or Windows

2000 Server-based computer

822219 - You experience slow file server performance and delays

occur when you work with files that are located on a file server
