Update KB941229 failed

I downloaded and installed update KB941229 and screen said that it installed

successfully and asked to reboot. I rebooted and icon in taskbar said that

new

updates were available. I then got message that update did not install and

my log

confirmed this. I have repeated this a number of times but no luck. I have

not had

any problems installing all other updates except this one. Any help greatly

appreciated. Thank You,

Hello DTrider,

 

Try this out, stop automatic update service under services.msc delete the

softwaredistribution folder and start the service. Then try again. Softwaredistribution

folder will be recreated automatically.
