The next level would be Windows XP.

It is probably not a concern, but what are the specs of your PC, just so we know it will comfortably run it, should you choose to upgrade.

Cooler Master HAF 932

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 3.3GHz

Asus P5K Premium Black Pearl

2GB OCZ reaper 1066MHZ

ATI Radeon HD4850

Mmmm ok well to be brutally frank Mrstipple we'd advise that you get a new box as that cpu (processor) Pentium 3 could range from 500mhz to 1000mhz.

The memory needs at least quadrupling and you could run into all kinds of other issues along the way.

The very nature of the operating system installed dictates that the pc is getting into it's autumn years and you may buy XP and install it only for the power supply to fail or the motherboard packs up, the hard drive alone will be long in the tooth.

All in all we would heartily recommend that you get a new system.

They are very inexpensive these days.
