Guest NuBee Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 I have a smal business network with a domain, running DNS, AD, DC, IIS6.0, etc. I'm a little confused. When a user logs on to the domain (network) from a work station, they have access to the NETLOGON and SYSVOL folders on the server/DC. Is this supposed to be correct??? Why would a user at a work station have access to these two folders on the server/DC??? -- NuBee
Guest Meinolf Weber Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Re: Win2k3 SP2 server Hello NuBee, Here are policies stored for example, that either the clients or the users need to access. But if your try to cahnge anything as a user you will see that they have no rights for change anything.
