Access is Denied when logged on 2003 Server?

Recommended Posts

Hello all, I am running a Windows 2003 file server for the past 3

months now. I administer it through RDP, and can obviously make

changes to permissions, configurations and whatever. Last week, I

realized I couldn't access a folder when I connected through Remote

Desktop. I can check the properties, permissions and users allowed to

see the folder. Today another folder on a different share is giving me

the same error. Has anyone heard of not being able to access a folder

on the server, when your logged on to the server, as an adimistrator?

Hello craig,

How are the share permissions configured and the folder security permissions?

Are these shares used for user profiles?

Best regards
