win 10 updates

Hello, my laptop is updating. Since 12 hours is still 14% of update. Is it normal? I don't care about the files, so how can I do restart of system in this case?

12 hours is not normal although I have heard of some taking longer. I had this happen to me and I shutdown the computer. Shutdown not reboot. When I restarted it reverted back to before updating. I started the updates again and it worked as expected taking about 30 minutes.

I only could wait to discharge of battery and turn it on again, as usual. It worked. Laptop kept all the files. Probably the update will turn on with next turn off of the laptop. Sorry for my english. :)
