Guest Vishal Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Hi, I am trying to get some help in terms of decommisioning an existing domain controller which runs the secondary DNS zone. 1) My question is do I uninstall AD first or do I need to remove/delete the secondary DNS zone from the server. My thinking is that I need to uninstall AD first, then delete/remove DNS. 2) how do I delete/remove secondary zone DNS ? Do i right click the zone and press the delete button. Regards

Check on the primary zone that also all entries be deleted after the DNS server is retired.
