Guest John Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 I have a 2003 R2 server. Used as an application server. Can anyone recommend an antivirus program I should use on it? Thanks
Guest Meinolf Weber Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Re: AntiVirus Program Hello John, Think that is always a view of the people itself. I hear a lot goods about NOD32, in our company we use mostly Sophos, small MCAffee and Norton Antivirus. Everything has its advantages and disadvantages. Had dealings with Trend Micro Svr Edition too, was quite nice, but still went back to Avast after it....

Guest John Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Re: AntiVirus Program Hello, thanks for the advice. I was thinking about Trend. <bretty83@gmail.com> wrote in message news:e72787c2-042a-46b5-8916-3188b626bc8a@e6g2000prf.googlegroups.com... > On Nov 23, 8:45 am, "John" <1...@111.com> wrote: >> I have a 2003 R2 server. Guest Jabez Gan [MVP] Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Re: AntiVirus Program Hey John, All has their own adv/disadv as Meinolf said, however I would say go for NOD32 as it has the highest detection rate and lesser memory footage (google for the statistics). -- Jabez Gan Microsoft MVP: Windows Server - File Storage "John" <111@111.com> wrote in message news:enizplVLIHA.5468@TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... >I have a 2003 R2 server. Guest Gis Bun Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Re: AntiVirus Program They release v11 of SAV [i think it's all combined as "SEP"]. Interface has changed. I never really found 10.1.xxxx to be hoggish. I know some think of the home/retail products - they are higgish and I wouldn't touch them. I think I heard somewhere that Sophos had some detection issues. "Hank Arnold (MVP)" wrote: > John wrote: > > I have a 2003 R2 server. Used as an application server.
