Hello John,

Think that is always a view of the people itself. I hear a lot goods about

NOD32, in our company we use mostly Sophos, small MCAffee and Norton Antivirus.

Everything has its advantages and disadvantages.

Best regards

I run Avast on mine, perhaps a bit much for an application svr, but on

all TS's I've got and normal app svr's I run it....just seems to be so

stable....

Had dealings with Trend Micro Svr Edition too, was quite nice, but

still went back to Avast after it....

Would definately agree with Meinolf...this is definately falling back

to the individuals experiences....I will agree that sophos has been

mentioned to me time and time again being a great one....but my

experiences with norton, have told me to stay WELL away...all imo

though :)

Hey John,

All has their own adv/disadv as Meinolf said, however I would say go for

NOD32 as it has the highest detection rate and lesser memory footage (google

for the statistics).

We use and like Sophos. Dropped NAV/SAV because of rotten interface,

upgrade process and huge resource drain when scanning...

They release v11 of SAV [i think it's all combined as "SEP"]. Interface has

changed. I never really found 10.1.xxxx to be hoggish. I know some think of

the home/retail products - they are higgish and I wouldn't touch them. I

think I heard somewhere that Sophos had some detection issues.
