x64 addtional printer drivers, fails when it asks for ntprint.inf

I am trying to add x64 drivers to ws03r2 32bit (print) server

if I do this from the server it asks me for the x64 drivers (works OK) then

it asks me for the OS disk. I point to a network copy of the x64 disk and

find the folder with "ntprint.inf" but the wizard rejects this.

what am I doing wrong?

Try this method:

1) On the x64 client, from Start > Run, type \\servername, where servername

= the name of the x86 windows server.

2) In the list of shares, open the Printers folder.

3) Right-click in the Printers folder and select Server Properties.

4) Go to the Drivers tab and add a new x64 driver.

Hope this helps.

I already know of that method, in fact you have to do what you suggest and

then you add addtional drivers from the x64 client

But how can I add the drivers if I don't yet have a client?
