I am upgrading a SBS 2003 server to SP 2 and all of the latest updates. After

all of the updates, all of my network printers do not work. I receive the

message after trying to print a test page: "Test Page Failed To Print". If I

try printing from note pad I get a "Handle is invalid" error message. I tried

installing the lastest drivers with no luck. Can anyone help trouble shoot

this?

Re: Print no longer works

This dll file was not found. Another interesting fact is that if I install a

network printer using a local port on some of my xp workstations, the printer

works fine. But I have two xp workstations and the server that has this

problem. As I search the Internet, I see others have had this problem, but no

solutions have been found.

Did you delete the files from the spooler directory?

Re: Print no longer works

One other item of interest is that I connected to the server via remote

desktop and tried to use a local printer. I get the same error message when I

use the local printer that is connected to the server using remote desktop.

Re: Print no longer works

It's possible the spool folder was moved.

Control Panel|Printers and Faxes|File|Server Properties|Advanced|Spool

Folder
