Is it possible to add smilies to website?

i was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to add extra smilies to a website ive just done? Ive tried searching the internet with no luck. :(

Thank you for that link Bob...im thinking the answer is no to be honest...none of the codes work when i paste those ito the reply box. So it looks like im going to have to settle with the few basic smileys i have on my site. Thank you for your help anyway. ;)
