What is the best free software to convert WMV files to DivX

I have a dlink divx box connected to a tv in another room.My computer transmits to it.

I would like to convert some WMV movie files to divx.

If it cant be done I am not worried.

It can be done Bob, but I could not find any free versions.

Well there is this one, but more like shareware than really free. The free bit doesn't do much after fifteen days.

Bob knows where I got this, you were lucky there Bob.

(found it on another non computer forum) Naughty boy, asking in two places at once!! But I will let you off this once, as up untill now we didn't have an answer.
