The DN (Distinguished Name) should be:

dc=eDomain,dc=com

That should be the DN of the root domain, which I assume is the DN of the

forest.

Hello Sanjay,

If you built the domain at the first time, you have to built the forest and

in this forest the domain. So if you did not built the forest with another

name, they are both the same.

Re: Forest DN Name

Hi Meinolf,

so if my domain is eDomain.com (for example), what would I enter

in Tree View.

The diago box is expecting an input;

BaseDN:

so would I enter DN=eDomain ??

Please see the print screen at:
