system error 67 has occured

hi i like to use net use lpt1 in terminal server 2003 to print in from dos

app in lpt1 ;with this prog you can print only printer in lpt1 or lpt2 .

i connect remote desktop to the server and i try to use the net use command

to redirecte the lpt1 to the tsclint print i do lik this in terminal server

Net use lpt1 :\\client-pc\hp-printer

i have this error ......system error 67 has occured

the network name cannot be found .......

can any one help me please thanks

yes i diseble ltp port in bios befor ...and then i have this message about

system error 67

network name cannot be found ....

 

i try to found why it doesn t work

Have you read my FAQ?

Your syntax is incorrect, you should use

\\tsclient\hp-printer in stead of

\\client-pc\hp-printer

i test with net use lpt1:\\tsclient\hp-printer i have the same error ,,,i

read all faq ...and i do all ,,but is the same .......thanks

Is the printer shared on the client? From the Terminal Server, can

you browse to it?

I tell you what I have :

 

 

I have windows 2k3 as terminal server

And I have client with windows xp with printer shard in ((hp2200))

I connect to my server with remote desktop ,,I coch in local source in

remote desktop printer.

When I connect to the server if I go to browse the terminal server network I

see only \\tsclent only that :

If I do net use lpt1:\\tsclient\printer I have error 67

Is the printer redirected in the session properly? Can you start

notepad inside a TS session and see the printer and print to it? If

not, you have a driver issue, check the EventLog to verify this.

yes i can print on it from all application

but if i like to redirecte the port net use lpt1:\\tsclient\hp2200

i have the same error 67

the network name cannot be found

but if i go in my network and i see in terminal server network

\\tsclient\c

\\tsclient\d

because i connect also the hdd just i can' t see the printer shard in client
