Guest Bruce Nelson Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 My father's computer won't start windows. I am going to use the reinstall disk that came with the computer, but would like to try to save his files first. I have located everything except the address book used by outlook express. Can anyone tell me the default location of the file? Please note that I cannot use the OE program to export it, as I cannot start windows. Thank you Bruce Nelson

Guest Heirloom Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Re: default location for OE address book http://www.insideoe.com/resources/tools.htm The above site has an excellent backup app for OE, may not help in your case, but, it is a good resource site, anyway. Heirloom, old and backups are good "Mike M" <No_Spam@Corned_Beef.Only> wrote in message news:OovPSHXMIHA.4476@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book\????.wab > should get you what you're looking for. > -- > Mike Maltby > mike.maltby@gmail.com > > > Bruce Nelson <BruceNelson@sympatico.ca> wrote: > >> My father's computer won't start windows.
