BeeCeeBee Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Most stop error codes are either hardware or driver related. It seems that you are alternativly trying to install or run 3 different OSs and each of which may have different driver requirements. What is the source of these various versions of window? Do you have the original disks for this machine? OEM disks perhaps. "Familiarity breeds contempt - and children." Mark Twain

Citroen Posted March 16, 2009 Author Posted March 16, 2009 Can you tell us what is exactly happening here please. At the moment unable to re-load Vaista after the page loading windows it comes back with the stop page. It's nearly the same in xp but sometimes it will load more of the system before giving me the error code. I tried them today to get the exact codes for the problem. Able to load Win 98 again Regards Pete
maynardvdm Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Hi Do you format the drive everytime you try and install an Operating System? Are you using original Windows Disks? If you have more than one stick of RAM, try using only one. We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else. Guest Wolfeymole Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Look Pete We need to know what is going on as you say you do not have the original disks. What we want to know is how you are managing to install operating systems without the original disks. Are these disks obscure rips from a peer to peer site like Bit Torrent or something?

Not original Disks not using the original memory as it was'not working together. Will try using 1 stick and let you know the outcome Regards Pete.
