Guest Max Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Hi, As first, we are not IT oriented company. We have only 1 server (DC and DNS) and our 15 users are using just domain account for loging on their laptops. Company is growing up to 100 employees. Idea is find out IT outsourcing company. I have basic MS knowledge and before we'll give outsourscing job to our partner, I'd like to do something like folowing: a) get computers invertory - collect basic computer (hardware) characteristics (memory and disk size, CPU settings, ....) from central server b) find out if our network could server another MS services like Exchange and SQL. Idea is to check DC and DNS settings and use basic tools to get global informations about our network. Once when outsourscing company will insall new services, they will do main checking and maintenance... Thnx!

Belarc Advisor is nice product. I have written an e-mail to that company because we're interested in for BelManage. Is it possible to get detailed reports for scanned multiple computers? The similar products: - portable Everest- it must be done like PC-by-PC - LOGINventory - nice product also but reports are not so fancy and useful.
