suptools.msi install failure

I'm attempting to install the Support Tools for Windows Server 2003 R2 from

the CD. The installer launches OK but, in the end, I receive a "failure"

message. I am attempting this while logged-in as the Administrator.

 

The failure is noted in the event log (11780), but following the link only

yields a message that says, in essense, "Sorry, but we haven't any

information about that".

 

Can anyone provide some insight?
