Printer Migration

Hi,

 

I am tring to migrate a printer from one server to another.

 

As you can see from the print screen I have something called Port1 [for the

Digital Copier].

However, when I go to the other server and try to configure that same

printer - I cant find any place where I can input Port 1.

Hi Danny,

 

I had used the printer migrater 3.1 that you mentioned.

 

The printer still shows its offline.

The printer is connected to a NIC. And I am printing to 9100.

 

I have tried to printing directly to the IP - somehow the printer still

appears offline. If you see the 2nd print screen carefully you'd see that it

still appears offline.

 

When I click configure port - it doesnt even allow me.

 

Can you help please.

What happens when you try? Any error messages? Any messages in event viewer

around the same time? Any services set to start up automatically that are

not started?
