Maplin is in the town centre here, and pretty useful if a little expensive on some things, but does at least save on any postage for stuff from elsewhere. Add to that, the town centre market has two well established traders, both of which are reliable, one of them taking the trouble to drop off two batteries on his way home. They were actually for my camcorder, which he sourced at a price cheaper than the camera manufacturer were selling at. ( I like that guy, and bought my external hard drive off him.)

Can I move in with you Nev?

There's nothing at all around here, except the most useless, expensive, over-priced and non-knowledgable PC World!

No reliable traders that I have ever come across so far :(

Return of faulty items: USBNow does not refund the return postage!

After I received an item with the securing holes not aligned, screws too small and the supplied screwdriver did not fit, I was advised to send the item back by the expensive 1st class recorded service. The invoice was refunded but not my postage, despite my complaining. Next time I will buy from Amazon: they pay for the return of faulty goods, hassle free.
