windows 8 uninstall error when trying to uninstall updates or anything

i tried to backup my iphone and when i went to see why i had mo space left i uninstalled a couple things and then i noticed my baxkup drives were not working or they were full because it says to pick another driver to back up files on. i dont have anything else so i tried to uninstall some updates and files but it said error and norton 360 told me to ask microsoft and applr because my iphone backup is mixed in too and its encrypted so i cant remove them. How can i get a way to uninstall files?
