windows 10 Want thumbnails when uploading from My Documents & My Pictures

I figured out how to view thumbnails and that's fine EXCEPT the problem is when I go to upload a file to either Ebay or email. A list appears, instead of the thumbnails.

 

 

In fact , something strange happened when I tried to upload a picture, I took a screen shot of it, but don't see a place to attach, so will tell you what it does.. It opens in strange places.

 

 

One was a certain file and I deleted that file thinking that was the problem. Now it opens to: Windows 8 ????? but I upgraded to Windows 10,

 

 

Anyway, it says:

 

 

Windows 8_0S: © , Program Files 86, Google, Chrome,. Application

 

 

And I get to the file I want, but a list appears and it's difficult to find what I am looking for without a thumbnail.
