Guest Larry Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 I am trying to enable RDP to a Server 2003. I have enabled it on My Computer Remote, and in the User settings, but After doing a Netstat, I don't see port 3389 open. How can I open this port on the server? It is open on the firewall already. -- Larry

Guest Larry Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Re: RDP to Server 2003 RDP 6.0 on the connecting computer, or the server? Guest Larry Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Re: RDP to Server 2003 The tool confirms that port 3389 is not open. How can I get the server to listen for RDP on port 3389? Guest Dave Patrick Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Re: RDP to Server 2003 Might be someone changed the listening port. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306759/ Make sure that "Terminal Services" service startup type is 'Automatic' and status is 'Started' -- Regards, Dave Patrick ....Please no email replies - reply in newsgroup. Guest Larry Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Re: RDP to Server 2003 Thanks, Dave. I overlooked the fact that Terminal Services was not starting.
