RDP to Server 2003

I am trying to enable RDP to a Server 2003. I have enabled it on My Computer

Remote, and in the User settings, but After doing a Netstat, I don't see port

3389 open. How can I open this port on the server? It is open on the

firewall already.

Are you using RDP 6.0? If not, try the upgraded version.

Re: RDP to Server 2003

RDP 6.0 on the connecting computer, or the server? How would loading that on

the connecting computer open port 3389?

Re: RDP to Server 2003

The tool confirms that port 3389 is not open. How can I get the server to

listen for RDP on port 3389? Do I need to enable Routing?

Re: RDP to Server 2003

Might be someone changed the listening port.

Make sure that "Terminal Services" service startup type is 'Automatic' and

status is 'Started'

Re: RDP to Server 2003

Thanks, Dave. I overlooked the fact that Terminal Services was not starting.

Sorry for the dumb error on my part.
