Incorrect OS Detected {Was: Email problem}

My Operating System is Windows 7. My browser is Firefox. My Internet service is Juno.

 

About a month ago, my Email device, as listed by Juno, keeps changing from Windows 7, to sometimes Mac, sometimes Android, sometimes Windows 98; it varies without ryme or reason. Some websites recognize the incorrect OS, and this causes problems.

 

Juno support has sent me various solutions, all to no avail, often repeating the same failed solution.

 

I finally got a live person, and he claims that Microsoft has to make a change in my computer. Does this sound plausible to you? If so, how can I have the changes made?
