I have had a series of "startup failures" that necessitated the complete formatting of my hard drive after it became impossible for Windows Repair, or Windows Restore, to correct the problem (which is a separate issue that I need not go into here).

 

 

It finally seems that I have a stable installation. That's the good.

 

 

The bad, I got a popup that said Windows could not verify my copy of Windows 7. I reentered the product key and got a message that my product key has been blocked from use by Microsoft.

 

 

I was able to get in touch with an operator on the phone verification system and she told me it had been blocked because I had used it too many times.

 

 

I reread the EULA and, according to that, there is no limitation how many times I may load the software onto a computer so long as I use the software ONLY on one computer at a time. This is what I am doing. It is loaded on one computer (many times because of the problems I have had).

 

 

I have the disk with the product key, the booklet, and the box(es) they came in.

 

 

How do I get this fixed?
