Not opening photos?

I have a Lenovo Yoga X1 and it has the most recent software update installed from Microsoft.

 

However, whenever I try to open a photo from my files, it doesn't open at all saying that it can't find a file under the file name and says to try again.

 

It will only open in Paint or Paint 3D.
