Dear all,

I wrote a script to read the content of a log file, it worked fine. After reading it, I want to make it empty. However , since this log file is controlled or locked by the "another program" which is writing logs (not so frequently) into it. So, the question is how to "force" this log file to be emptied. I cannot modify the "another program", so I wonder if anybody knows whether there is a way to do it. Thanks!
