I don't know why the freezing is happening but it started happening today after some update. It's constantly happening, every 10 minutes or so. I'm not gonna ask why it's freezing as everyone knows Windows updates never work properly. But why make them mandatory? I don't want to update my system when I know it'll just screw things up. Also I'm not a creator or whatever. I don't need this update. So why not give people a choice? You really should.
