No Sound..Windows 8

All of a sudden there is no sound from speaker from my new ASUS laptop with Windows 8. All other features work totally fine.

 

 

I checked sound mixer/control setting, the sound drivers (and their updates), microphone, they all look normal. There is sounds from notification. And I try music app and it shows error 0xc00d0ff8 (0xc1010096)..not sure if this is related to sound issue.

 

 

So, what I can I do for it?
