Guest ms Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 I installed the universal USB driver software mentioned here awhile ago, works great on 2 W98 machines, as my flash card functions normally. In a third machine there is a problem. The driver software above installed normally. I then plugged in the flash card, got the usual screen finding driver, everything normal as I saw on the other 2 machines. The flash card drive icon showed up in the System Tray. If I select it for Unlock, it shows as drive F, and names my particular flash card. But drive F does not show in windows Explorer. I tried rebooting, tried Safe Mode, don't see it. How to see that drive so I can use it? ms
Guest glee Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Re: Flash card drive does not show up Are the two 98 systems that show it using the FAT32 file system, and is the one that does not give it a drive letter using the FAT file system? That might account for the lack of drive letter and inaccessibility. -- Glen Ventura, MS MVP Shell/User, A+ "ms" <ms@invalid.com> wrote in message news:5rgflpF14l0d1U2@mid.individual.net... >I installed the universal USB driver software mentioned here awhile ago, > works great on 2 W98 machines, as my flash card functions normally. > > In a third machine there is a problem. > > The driver software above installed normally.
