Hi DTSM

1 Do I have to do anything, to the second receiving Computer, set up wise?

To setup two computers for home networking you will have to perform these steps to both computers or any other computer you want to add to the Network.

PLEASE do not use the names HOME, PRIVATE or WORKGROUP for your network name, as If I wanted to 'Hack' your network then guess what would be my first choice in network names. :) even the addition of a number or name IE SMITHSHOME, will improve security.

2 Is there a Limit to File size in transfer?

If you setup the file as shared as described HERE, you will not need to transfer the files but simply read them off Computer A's Hard drive using Computer B. But also you will be able transfer the file if you want and as far as I am aware available Hard Drive space is the only limitation you will have to the size of file you can transfer.

Ive assumed you have already connected the two computers to a router already but if you haven't here's a how to Wireless or Wired step by step guide

If you have any other questions on how to setup a Home network you should find them HERE But please Don't hesitate to ask if you don't understand anything.

Hi Match. Thanks for all that info, and adding the hints. Great.

Both Computers are networked, through a Netgear Router, and working fine.

I couldn't set up printer sharing, for some reason, and that made me hesitant, and didn't want any stuff ups.

I ended up buying a USB Share Switch, which solved that problem.

Thought File sharing would be easier, than using a Flash/Memory stick, all the time.Appreciate you help.:)
