ethernet controller problem

Hi folks

 

im having a problem with the ethernet controller in a pc which means it wont connect to the internet via broadband..

 

it dosnt seem to have a driver and i cant find one anywhere. pc model: advent t9306 can anyone help

Hi that was not easy to find.

 

but that's why you are here

 

from what I can find out the file you want is in PROADMIN.exe and you can find that HERE

 

other than that I keep getting linked to the Microsoft update site :confused: which is really useful if your network adapter don't work. (I was being sarcastic)

 

and all Microsoft have to say is If you cant find one on the intel site then you cant get one :confused:

 

as for Advent well we wont go there. and I won't be wasting my time going back there again ether,

hi guys neither of those links made any difference its still not working im begining to think the ethernet port may be shot..

Does the device manager say that it's installed and working properly?

no im sure it says its not instaled and not working i think im going to give up on this one and get a better motherboard

 

its a pc i was setting up from bits and bobs i had lying around and was going to give it to my little cousin as his machine is very old now so may set one up so it will be able to handle windows 7 for when the time comes

Well if that's the way you want to go then one of THESE has to be cheaper than a mother board.

 

and I cant argue I was going to suggest this as a quick fix option, and then download the drivers from the Microsoft update site.

Hi guys thought i should let you know that i found the driver i needed on this site Die Treiber Download Seite, 165016 Treiber kostenlos herunterladen it seems you can get almost any driver for all pc equipment cheers :)
