hi..im completly pc illiterate so lol..ive got windows xp and thts as far as my knowledge goes..when i try to plug in my samsung e25o to ulpoad photos the pc turns off and i have to unplug it to get it back on..not much info i kno but any help wd be appreciated,,thanx:eek:

Have you installed the PC Suite software for the phone Janny?

Hi janny you should be able to download all the software for your phone from the samsung website ..

if its through the usb wd i need software? it worked b4 but when i tried 2day it just keeps switchin off th pc although the tower light is still on

could it be a faulty cable? if i use (this is where my lack of knowledge comes in) a memory card usb adapter i think its called i have no problems transfering pics etc..its just a pain gettin behind the tower to unplug it

Have you tried it in a different USB port.

 

Sounds like either the cable or a faulty USB port.

ive tried different ports,,still the same..but the usb adapter thngy lol works in there..must be th cable..wd a faulty cable cause the pc to switch off?

Try a different cable then if it still does the same then you know the problem is elsewhere.
