terminal services on monochromatic pocket pc

Hello everyone

 

I'm actually facing a critical problem. We've purchased a monochromatic

terminal (like a pocket pc) that can be attached to a barcode reader, with

the intention to use terminal services (running on it) to access one of my

servers and execute an application.

 

Now that I finished my application, I tried to execute it via terminal

services on my terminal, to my surprise, I can't see anything, all I see is

the close, minimize and maximise icons and the start button and some icons

on the desktop of the terminal server.

 

Is there some settings I can change on terminal services to make it

monochromatic ??

 

P.S : I tried every kind of colour for my terminal server background, but in

vain.

Try setting the maximum color depth on the server to "Client

Compatible".

 

You'll find the setting in terminal Services Configuration, or in a

GPO:

Computer Configuration - Administrative templates - Windows

Components - Terminal Services

"Limit maximum color depth"
