Hi all

The fax notification via e-mail is not working

I have entered in credentials for e-mail server, proper host, etc

The messenger service is running fine

The faxes go through but not notification - not even a message pop works

Am I missing anything?

Re: Fax Notification not working

I use SBS 2003 Fax Services and had an issue similiar to yours. Obviously

this may not be your problem but a possibility. When I first setup my email

notification I wanted it to be distributed to a few users so I created an

SMTP enabled DL and discovered that the notification would only send to an

individual email address. OK so I fixed that and still no notification. So I

tracked the email notification and discovered that my messegaing filter

(IMF) was filtering it as SPAM. So I had to add the email notification

address to my safe senders list. Just a thought.

Re: Fax Notification not working

So your spam filter filters internal e-mail addresses?

Re: Fax Notification not working

Everything is internal to us - the e-mail users is sending a fax and wants

e-mail notification of a successful fax sent - our spam filter is for

inbound external e-mail

Re: Fax Notification not working

My SPAM filters any mail passing in or out through the SMTP mail connector.
