Small Business Server 2003 printing issue

Need help please. I am working for an office that has Small Business Server

2003 with the workstations printing to a HP laserjet 1100 setup on the

server. What is happening is that one of the workstations can print from the

desktop (word, excel etc) but when they try to print through Meditech you see

the print job show up on the server but then the server deletes the job out

of the print queue before it is actually printed. The other workstation in

the office has no problems printing from the desktop or meditech to the

networked printer. I have removed and reistalled the print drivers on the

server, workstaiton and have used a different user ID on the workstation but

same issue is happening from this one machine.

Thanks

Jon

Any event log errors on the server or workstation?

How is the LaserJet connected - is it hooked up via USB/serial to the

server, or is it connected over the network with a standard TCP/IP port?

Do you have another printer you can use to test with?

The printer is connected via a USB Cable to the server and unfortunetly there is no other printer available to test with. I have found out susequently that the workstation was able to print via Meditech several months ago but now cannot.

Try hooking up this printer directly to the workstation as a test.

Ah, it's the charming newsgroup nanny, striking in yet another group and

adding nothing to the thread. Evidently, your parents never explained to you

the vast difference between getting "good" attention and "bad" attention.
