BennyBench Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 My computer runs at PC2700 but I'm looking to upgrade my RAM size (it's only 248Mb). I'm buying a 512Mb DDR RAM stick that runs at PC2100 and I'm wondering if it will work ok. Any help on this will be very much appreciated. Quote
maynardvdm Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 Should work fine as long as the PC2100 is in the first slot. DO NOT mix DDR and DDR2/DDR3, as long it is the same type. Just check to see if your motherboard supports PC2100. Quote We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else.
