W2K3 TS Grace Period Licensing Question

Recommended Posts

I have a Windows 2003 Server that we have been using the 2 Remote Desktop

connections for administrative connections. We have been using the machine

this way for over 1 year. Now, we would like to turn on Terminal Server

services. However, we do not yet have Windows 2003 TS licensning. Basically,

we need to allow more than 2 people to access the machine for testing

purposes.

So, now to the question:

If we turn on Windows 2003 Terminal Server licensing, will we have the 120

grace period, or did the grace period start when the first time the Server

accepted the administrative RDP connection?

Thanks!

Jeff

Re: W2K3 TS Grace Period Licensing Question

Your grace period is already gone. But you will get temporary

licenses, which are valid for 90 days.
