Logon through terminal services

Hi everyone

I have an issue.

I have a computer with Windows XP Pro on which I want to be able to

connect through the outside.

I've already made the changes in my router and I'm able to get the

username and password prompt.

However, when I put the information and tries to logon, it tells me :

"The local policy of this system does not permit you to logon

interactively."

The computer is member of a domain so when I go in the Local Security

Policy to allow logon through terminal services, I can't modify the

list of users having access.

When I go on the server to modify the Default Group Policy, I'm able

to add it there without problems.

Then, when I go back on the computer and check the Allow logon

through terminal services setting, the username I just added does not

appear...

The server is a Small Business. The user is in the administrators

group on the computer.

If I give domain admins privilege to the user, I'm able to logon.

Any idea?

Revoke the domain admins group. Check the local "Remote Desktop Users" group

membership and add this user or a group.

NB: You'd be best off posting questions like this to

microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs in the future.
