Problems with policy's Offline filetypes not cached

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have set the GPO Computer/Admin Templ/Network/Offline Files/Files not

cached field to: *.dbx; *.mdb; *.pst

However despite this I receive the syncronization error dialog every

time I log on/off that file names with these extensions could not be

syncronized.

Why? I thoght that this was the gpo to set to avoid this error message?

Thanks for comments and experiences ;-)

Almost everyone has issues with Off-Line files, that's why most people

disable it, abandon using it, and then write a ROBOCOPY script to manage

files.

Jake,

Those file types are not synchronised by default.

You get a warning message to say they have not been synchronised. You can

ignore it.

That's just the way it works.
