Allow a network adator to use a non-domain dhcp server

Hi,

I am trying to setup two servers for some testing, one to act as a DC the

other an Internet gateway.

The DC seems to be running fine with all necessary roles installed

(including a DHCP server).

However the Gateway is unable to connect it to its internet connection when

it is logged onto the domain. When logged on with the local account it works

fine.

I read somewhere that this is to do with the fact that the server is not

allowed to get its internet IP address due to the fact that it is from a

non-domain DHCP server.

Is this correct, and how do I go about altering this restriction for just

this one adaptor.

Many thanks in advance.
