email attachments

Hi all, i have been sent some information by email and i cant open the attachments any ideas,heres a screen shot of the error message hope this helps,Refards JIF.

Hello JIF. Looks like an incomplete download to me. Can you please save the attachment to your dekstop and then try and open it. Let us know what results it yields. :)

Do you have Microsoft Office installed? If yes, then right-click on the downloaded file and select the Open With... option. Select Microsoft Word on the corresponding screen and check the box that says "Always use this program to open this type of file" or something similar. Click OK and see if the file opens or not.

 

Sorry for the vague instructions but I don't have Vista. I hope you will be able to find your way around. Ask again if you can't.

Hi opening with word didnt work,so i opened word first then went to file, found the saved attachment and then opened it, this worked.
