Old guy - still learning

Hello out there.

Just wanted to take a moment to say howdy and let y'all know I've joined "the family." I'm pretty good on computers, but as you all know it's an ongoing learning process and we all encounter new problems, often, which, of course, is why we all joined this little family.

I live on an island in Washington state so lack the readily available number of computer services stores found in most other places nearby ones home, so almost have to reach out in cyber space whenever I have question about these dumb gizmos.

Most people seem happy with their treatment on this site so I look forward to the same..
