Mail Server doesn't respond

I have windows 2003 web edition and have setup the mail server. I added a

domain, and added a user to it. I setup the IIS server to anonymous

authendication. I setup my router to allow traffic on port 110 and 25. I

have followed the proceedures that I have found for setting up the srver. I

cannot make the thing work. It produces no log files or event log entries.

 

When I try and sign on it doesn't work. I tried using telnet and walking

through the login process but it failes when i provide a password.

 

Same thing when I try and log on using outlook.

 

Where do I go for answers on this.
